Memories of Peter Pocklington's better days in Edmonton are about to slip through his fingers.
The former Oilers owner and a U.S. bankruptcy trustee have come to a tentative deal over some items seized from his home. The agreement involves over 200 items that were seized from Pocklington's home in California in a series of raids in 2008.
Pocklington will have to relinquish his Stanley Cup rings which he won with the Oilers, among other things.
Back in 2008 Pocklington declared bankruptcy, and was later charged with two counts of bankruptcy fraud. It's alleged he hid assets including two offshore accounts and some property in storage facilities.
He's scheduled to go to trial March 9th.
